Uncertainty

Uncertainty in the Life makes you a Believer, a believer of Super Natural Power i.e. God.

The more successful you become in life, the lesser need of God arises and you start taking control of your Life rather than some imaginary One. The more confident you become of yourself, the lesser you rely on the Almighty. In short, the Life becomes more “certain”.

How many times do we remember God when everything is going right? The realization of losing it (uncertainty) may force you to remember Him once a while. The God is created only when things become Uncertain.

The believer of oneself, the believer of success based on his hard work need no God. He creates a destiny for himself. He becomes The God of himself.

But is it so? Can one become God?

We Are Born To Die….

It’s strange that how unconcerned are we about ourselves. We grow up, try hard to become successful according to our own or the world’s standards of success. Many of us fail in the efforts, few of us succeed.
.
We merrily reproduce or at least participate in the process creating another bunch of people to go through the same cycle. We have been doing this for thousands of years. Funny enough, even the least capable also makes an effort to reproduce.
.
But why do we do it? Why do we live to die?
.
We become island (most of us do not agree) and do not know what is happening else where. We even lose track of our parents, who produced us.
.
And one fine day, we become nothing. We disappear as if we never existed. People can argue that we remember Gandhi etc. But does Gandhi know what happened to him???

Slaves

Life is Beautiful..!!
I Agree, for me. It is.
Because I was not born in Afghanistan or Zanzibar
Because I was not born a Girl in a village of Rajasthan
Because I was not born to a labourer couple of Bihar
Because I was not born with any vital organ missing
Because.. Because.. Because..

It's easier to Praise the Good Life only because it has been kind to us, the selected few.
We never raise a voice against the injustice done to many more. Why? Because we have been fortunate enough. Why? Because we fear that we may lose this Privilege if we raise our voice.
We do not question the apathy of ourselves, let others. Why? Because we are content with whatever we have and we Fear.

Did we ever had a choice to chose our Lives?
Why are we living a life of Slaves? Shouldn't we revolt and ask for our freedom. The Freedom to be Happy forever. The Freedom of having what we want. The Freedom to relish the Friendship forever. The Freedom to be Loved forever. The Freedom to Live forever. The Freedom to have Freedom.

Beautiful Life is like living in a Golden Cage. Where you have everything that you want, But that Someone can takeaway anything and everything whenever He/She wishes. It's like living in Pre-Independence Era, where the elite were provided with by Britishers. And what they did? They Never Questioned? They lived the Beautiful Life...
But then a Privileged had the Courage to Question, Ask for his Freedom, Freedom for his fellow people.

We are Not Slaves, We are not Entertainment for Someone. We are not Fodder for His/Her Survival.

My God or Your God

We often say...
I believe in my Religion but I respect other's too.
The truth is, if you truly believe in your Religion, then you can't respect other's. Every religion is contradictory in nature, even the most similar ones.

How can a Christian respect a Muslim, when they refute Jesus to be Son of God?
How can a Muslim respect a Hindu, when idol worship is strictly banned in Islam?
How can a Buddhist respect a Muslim, when killing of an animal is prohibited in Buddhism?

The base of formation of all the religions were to contradict the existing religion. Though many may suggest co-existence but they won't say that the other religion is equally good and it makes no difference if you follow any.

The greatest fallacy of believers is that they follow a particular religion because they have a sense of pride in following it. They believe their Religion to be Superior and Better and that's the particular reason that they are stuck to it. The ones who find others to be better, convert themselves and become a follower of the Better religion.

So, in short you are follower of the Best Religion. This sense of pride in one's religion is the source of ridicule for other religion and then ultimately Hate.

God's Will

Free Will - Is there anything as Free Will for us ?
We can't decide when and where to be born.
We can't decide when where and how to die.
We can't decide how to live.
What ever we achieve as so called 'on our own', can it be sustained and savored for ever?

It's generally said. "It all happens what God wills"
But then.... "Are we any kind of joke"

Are we a form of entertainment for someone more powerful and mysterious???

Beliefs...

Last weekend, I was at a restaurant having lunch with a bunch of my friends, and one us started having a dig at the other vegetarian friend.

Most of Indian Vegetarians are vegetarian not by choice or love for life but for Religion. Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism strictly denounces consuming life (meat) which is rather a great philosophy. But, then some hardliners who are staunch follower of this philosophy is very happy killing followers of other religion and even their own lower castes.

So, I was telling about this friend of mine.
He had suggested that the people who don't eat meat are not 'Manly' enough. They are chicken hearted and cowards, these animals were in fact reared by humans for consumption and posses no threat to their extinction. And promptly another life eater joined him, saying that eating flesh does no harm because anyways the animals were created by God to be used by the great humans. An interesting line of debate.

But then I suggested to them, why don't we try beef and pork during the next luncheon and suddenly their faces turned red. Cow is considered 'Holy' by Hindus, similarly eating Pig is banned in Islam.

It's so easy to condemn someone who does not follow your belief. A person from Chinese or African culture cannot understand why a person who eats pork, beef, mutton or chicken cannot eat a Monkey. Similarly a Christian ridicules a Muslim for not eating pork and a Muslim to someone who does not have beef. A chicken eater wonders why a person who can eat an egg does not eat the chicken.

This phenomenon of disrespecting beliefs and lifestyle of different cultures and society is common with us. Though one never realize, that what they believe in never came along with their birth but was a result of their upbringing in their particular culture and society.

NOTE: Being Vegetarian or not is another topic of discussion which we will take in a separate column.
